My name is Pío G. Gowland. I am a psychologist (graduated from “Buenos Aires University”) and an astrologer who has 48 years of experience and 58 studying the subject.

I am a member of “The Astrological Association of Great Britain” (since 1992).

In 1988 I designed and conducted astrological research aiming at primary prevention of drug addiction. It was published in “Astrology & Medicine Newsletter” (Great Britain) and in “Linguaggio Astrale” (Italy). It was also presented as paper in “Congreso de Astrología — Barcelona 1997” (Spain). Today I have resumed the project, broadening the first sample and looking forward to single-blind tests.

I lectured in two editions of “The International Book Fair in Buenos Aires”: the 1987 lecture was titled “The Moon in J. L. Borges natal chart” (based on the natal chart of the widely acclaimed Argentina’s poet laureate). This lecture was reviewed by the national newspaper “La Nación” and also published in Italy, in “Linguaggio Astrale” journal . Around this time I trained astrologers, focusing on my formation based mostly on the current of the superb French astrologer André Barbault — my continuous main guide.

During 1991 I contributed to astrological software — leader in the USA — with Argentine time zone changes as well as latitude and longitude corrections of different places in Argentina.

I have been to television programs to inform the audience of the significance of true Astrology.
